Umpire Registration Form
OUR SERVICES
Sandlot America Umpire Group can provide your Team or Organization with quality umpires for both the regular season and tournament play for the 2011 season. Simply contact me to schedule your umpires for the entire season. In addition to making sure that you have umpires, I will if requested, attend one of your practice sessions to talk to your players about sportsmanship. I will also take a few minutes to work with your catcher to give some pointers on the proper way to receive the ball enabling the umpire to get the best view of the pitch. Also I highly recommend parents attend this session to discuss sportsmanship and skills to become a good fan of the game. This service is especially helpful for the younger ages where parents need to be reminded of the importance of making playing the game a positive experience.
If you are thinking of hosting a tournament during the season we at Sandlot America Umpire Group can make that experience a pleasant and productive one.

UMPIRE INFORMATION FOR THE 2011 SUMMER AND FALL SEASON
Baseball season is just around the corner. Scheduling of games begin February 1, 2011 and runs through November 2011. You must have on file a signed 2011 Umpire Registration Form along with Code of Ethics Form & National Umpire Registration Form before the season starts. Go to the bottom of this page and download the form. You will not work games without all forms being on file plus applicable fees are paid before the season starts.
All game scheduling will be done with HorizonWebRef system. You must have access to a computer NO EXCEPTIONS.
This schedule begins with a pre-season tournament at Pastime Park. Regular season games throughout the region. Tournaments on holiday weekends including Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day will be available. Additional tournaments will be played during the season. A High School fall league will also be assigned. A wide range of age groups is available including youth, high school, college and adult.
Game assignments cover a broad area from Northern Kentucky to Dayton, Ohio. Along by-pass I-275 near Harrison, Ohio extending east along the entire corridor to New Richmond, Ohio.
It is important to remember that we as umpires are Independent Contractors. I would only request that when you take an assignment from me that you honor your commitment. There are plenty of games available throughout the season. I would reiterate the importance of fulfilling your commitment once you have accepted an assignment. You will have 24 hours to accept your games once they are posted on the website or lose them.
We are able to schedule games far enough in advance to take in consideration your work, vacation, and family schedules. All assignments taken must be verified (rain or shine) 24 hours before game time for weekday games and weekend assignments must be verified on Friday. When verifying assignments please leave a number for the coach to reach you in case of game changes or cancellations.
Looking forward to working with you in the 2011 season!
